In the winter it is an ideal spot for surfers, the perfect starting point for a walk along the cliffs, somewhere to spend a relaxing couple of hours with your fishing rod or just to sit in your car and listen to the sea. Whether, basking in the summer sun or wild and windswept in the winter, Porthluney Cove overlooked by the castle has something for everyone and is the perfect family Cornish Beach.

Please be aware that there is no overnight parking on the beach and the gates are locked at 8.00pm each evening.
