5* Awarded March 2010

Bottom Lodge

Built in 1808 by John Bettesworth Trevanion, Bottom Lodge was originally one half of the castle gatehouse. This established favourite within the  Caerhays Holiday Lets Portfolio, is now a compact luxury retreat for two people.

A Listed Building, the exterior retains the crenulated walls and roof surrounds and today looks much as it would have looked in the early 19th century when it was built. Inside however is a different thing, as with all the Caerhays Holiday Lets, Bottom Lodge is fitted out to reflect its retained 5 star Gold Award standard.

Features of the property : Lounge\diner, double bedroom with King size bed, galley style kitchen with fridge\freezer and dishwasher, utility area for laundry, bathroom with seperate shower and bath. Full central heating and woodburner (logs supplied) for additional heating.

Situated right beside the secluded Porthluny Beach and enjoying its own private lawned garden and patio, with views up to the castle, and spectacular cliff walks which start only yards from your doorway this is the ideal spot for a relaxing break.

Marketed through Niche Retreats this is a very sought after property.
