History and beauty combine at Caerhays where we can provide photographic or film locations for a wide and varied range of genre. Over the years many films and TV series have used areas of the estate with perhaps the most famous being Daphne du Mauiers Rebecca which was filmed in the castle grounds.

The imposing neo-gothic castle with it’s backdrop of woodland stretching up the hill behind it, the small secluded beach with the gentle cliffs stretching away to either side, unlimited vistas of farmland with small farms nestling in the folds of the hills, the choice of three small villages which (at least on the surface) time seems to have passed by and wide expanses of sky what more could anyone want.

While filming is strictly limited to the external areas of the estate some still photography or product launch work may be arranged inside the property or in conjunction with The Vean our recently restored gracious Georgian ex- rectory situated in the grounds or maybe in one or more of our tastfully renovated holiday cottages.
